About Me

Chad Walden: College English teacher with an amazing wife and three crazy and wonderful kids, a dog, a couple of turtles, and dozens of tropical fish. Taught 15 years in high school before moving to Montcalm Community College in 2014. Loves reading, writing, playing with the kids, playing basketball, listening to & playing music, and watching sports. Finally learning to play the guitar he bought years ago; has been known to play drums and other percussion toys in a "Baptist Rock-n-Roll Band." Hopes to someday publish novels for young adults. Coaches basketball. Loves to visit and photograph lighthouses; stares dully at the corn, wheat, and bean fields surrounding his house and dreams of living by the sea (or at least a Great Lake).
